  62. Use the installation utility contained on the "HP DeskJet 500C Color Driver
  63. Disk for DOS", to copy the driver files to your Applause II directory on
  64. your hard disk.
  65.  
  66. Using the "SETUPAP" Program
  67. ---------------------------
  68. Run the SETUPAP program to configure Applause II with your HP DeskJet 500C
  69. printer.
  70.  1.  From the AP15 directory on your hard disk, type SETUPAP...then <Enter>.
  71.  2.  Press S (Setup) ...then press <Enter>.
  72.  3.  Press O (Output) ...then press <Enter>.
  73.  4.  Use the arrow keys to highlight an "Output device..." that hasn't been
  74.      configured yet ...then press <Enter>.
  75.  5.  Press <Enter> again to select "Printer".               
  76.  6.  Use the up/down arrow keys to highlight "HP DeskJet series ...", then
  77.      press <Enter>.
  78.  7.  Press M (MainMenu) ...then press <Enter>.
  79.  8.  Press <Enter> again to select "Save changes".
  80.  9.  Insert your Applause II "Printers Disk" into a floppy drive.
  81. 10.  Type the floppy drive letter ...then press <Enter>.
  82. 11.  Press E (Exit) ...then <Enter>, to end the SETUPAP program.

  84. Setting Up for Color Printing
  85. -----------------------------
  86. From the Applause II subdirectory on your hard disk run COLOR.BAT by
  87. typing the following command;  C:\AP15> COLOR  ...then <Enter>.
  88. This batch file configures Applause II to allow color printing using the
  89. "HP DeskJet series..." driver.
  90. IMPORTANT NOTE:  The old "HP DeskJet series..." driver shipped with your
  91. Applause II software has been saved (in a file called HPDJB.DRV) in order
  92. to allow you to switch back to black-only printing using the black ink
  93. cartridge.  (See the section below entitled "Switching Between Color and
  94. Black-Only Printing".)
  95.  
  96. From Applause II do the following;
  97.  1.  Under "File" in the menu bar, select "Print...", then press <Enter>.
  98.  2.  With your mouse, click on the printer device and drag the cursor down
  99.      to select "HP DeskJet series...".  NOTE:  If you're not using a mouse,
  100.      press the <Tab> key several times to highlight the block to the right
  101.      of "Device:", then press <Enter> and use the up/down arrow keys to
  102.      select "HP DeskJet series..."  ...then press <Enter> again.
  103.  3.  Select "Setup".
  104.  4.  Verify that your "Output port" is correct.
  105.  5.  Use the up/down arrow keys to highlight the block across from
  106.      "Resolution:" ...then press <Enter>.
  107.  6.  Select the desired resolution.
  108.        NOTE:  "Low"    = 150 dots per inch (fast, but lower quality)
  109.               "Medium" = 300 dots per inch (same as "High")
  110.               "High"   = 300 dots per inch (presentation quality)
  111.  7.  Select the desired "Paper size:".
  112.  8.  Verify that the color ink cartridge is in the printer.
  113.  9.  Click on "OK" (or <Tab> to it, then press <Enter>)...to begin printing.
  114.        NOTE:  There may be a delay from the time you click on "OK" until the
  115.               printer actually begins printing.  This delay is due to the
  116.               processing time it takes for Applause(tm) II to prepare the
  117.               color data for printing.
  118.  
  119. Switching Between Color and Black-Only Printing
  120. -----------------------------------------------
  121.  In order to switch between color-only (color ink cartridge installed) and
  122.  black-only (black ink cartridge installed) printing, you'll need to run a
  123.  couple of batch file programs we've supplied in your Applause II directory.   
  124.  To switch from color to black-only do the following:
  125.    From the Applause II directory on your hard disk run BLACK.BAT by typing
  126.    the following command;  C:\AP15> BLACK ...then press <Enter>.
  127.    The program simply recovers the old "HP DeskJet series..." black-only
  128.    driver to allow you to print with the black ink cartridge installed (or
  129.    with any other black-only DeskJet series printer).  Color printing is
  130.    disabled after running the BLACK.BAT file.  If you wish to switch back
  131.    to color-only, then run the COLOR.BAT file.  From Applause II select
  132.    the "HP DeskJet series..." driver as you normally would.  Make sure that
  133.    you have installed the correct ink cartridge in the printer prior to
  134.    printing.

  147. Using the DeviceID Program
  148. --------------------------
  149.  1.  From your \GALLERY directory type the following;
  150.         C:\GALLERY>  deviceid     ...then <Enter>.
  151.         NOTE:   If you do not have the DeviceID program installed in your
  152.         Gallery directory, copy the files from the "Graphics Gallery 3.0
  153.         Utility Master Disk", then run the program.
  154.  2.  Select F1-Select Disc
  155.  3.  Type the drive letter your \GALLERY directory resides in (e.g., C:),
  156.      then press <Enter>.
  157.  4.  Select F3-Printer/Plotter.
  158.  5.  Select F1-Add Device.
  159.  6.  Press the down arrow key to highlight "HP DeskJet 500C".
  160.  7.  Select F1-Device Setup.
  161.  8.  From the "Device Setup" screen, select the Interface and Port where
  162.      your printer is connected.
  163.  9.  Select F1-Save Setup.
  164. 10.  Select F8-Device List.
  165. 11.  Select F8-Printer/Plotter.
  166. 12.  Select F8-Main.
  167. 13.  Under "Identified Printers and Plotters", verify that the
  168.      "HP DeskJet 500C" printer and its associated interface/port
  169.      are correct.
  170. 14.  Select F8-Exit DeviceID.
  171.  
  172. Printing from HP Drawing Gallery
  173. --------------------------------
  174.  1.  From the "Main" menu select F2-Drawing Keys.
  175.  2.  Select F2-Device Control.
  176.  3.  In the "Device Control" screen, tab (or use your mouse and click) to
  177.      the "Device Name/Port" field.
  178.  4.  Select F5-Next Choice until "HP DeskJet 500C / port" is displayed.
  179.  5.  Tab (or move your mouse) to any of the other fields and change them
  180.      to suit your printing format needs.  For example, the "Medium" field
  181.      will allow you to choose between "Paper" and "Transparency".
  182.      Supported resolutions are 300 dots per inch (dpi) or 150dpi.
  183.      Charts/drawings may be printed in either "Vertical" (portrait) or
  184.      "Horizontal" (landscape) modes.
  185.  6.  Select F5-Save Choices.
  186.  7.  Select F1-Draw to DJ500C    ...to print the graphic.

  188. Printing from HP Charting Gallery
  189. ---------------------------------
  190.  1.  From the "Main" menu select F3-Edit and Draw.
  191.  2.  Select F6-Draw.
  192.  3.  Verify that an asterisk is displayed in the lower right corner of
  193.      the F4-Full Color softkey label.
  194.  4.  Select F2-Device Control.
  195.  5.  In the "Device Control" screen, tab (or use your mouse and click) to
  196.      the "Device Name/Port" field.
  197.  6.  Select F5-Next Choice until "HP DeskJet 500C / port" is displayed.
  198.  7.  Tab (or move your mouse) to any of the other fields and change them
  199.      to suit your printing format needs.  For example, the "Medium" field
  200.      will allow you to choose between "Paper" and "Transparency".

  215. ...\HG3\DRIVER directory on your hard disk.
  216.  
  217. Setting Up Harvard(tm) Graphics
  218. -------------------------------
  219.  1.  Start the Harvard(tm) Graphics program.
  220.  2.  From the F6-Main Menu, press 8 (Setup).
  221.  3.  Press 5 (Printer 1).
  222.  4.  From the Printer 1 Setup Menu press F3 (Choices).
  223.  5.  Use the down arrow key to highlight one of the following,
  224.      then press <Enter>.
  225.      HP DeskJet 500C              - Choose this for color output on paper.
  226.      HP DeskJet 500C Mono         - Choose this for black & white output.
  227.      HP DeskJet 500C Transparency - Choose this for transparency output.
  228.  6.  Press the down arrow key to position the cursor across from
  229.      "Output Port".
  230.  7.  Press F3 (Choices).
  231.  8.  Use the arrow keys to select the port where your printer is connected,
  232.      then press <Enter>.
  233.  9.  Press the down arrow key to position the cursor across from "Default
  234.      paper size", then press F3 (Choices).
  235. 10.  Use the arrow keys to select the paper size you're using, then press
  236.      <Enter>.
  237. 11.  Use the arrow keys to position the cursor across from "Use spooler".
  238. 12.  Press F3 (Choices), and select "Yes".
  239.      NOTE: Setting "Use spooler" to "Yes" activates the integral spooler
  240.      and allows you to get back to Harvard Graphics sooner when printing.
  241.      With it set to "No", you'll have to wait until the print job is
  242.      nearly finished in order to continue working.  If you do not wish
  243.      to use the integral spooler, (for example, when using an external
  244.      hardware or software spooler) set "Use spooler" to "No".
  245. 13.  Use the arrow keys to position the cursor across from "Quality".
  246. 14.  Press F3 (Choices).
  247. 15.  Select one of the following "Quality" options, then press <Enter>.
  248.         High:     Presentation/best quality.
  249.         Medium:   Normal/medium quality (faster printing than "High").
  250.         Draft:    Use to "proof" your work before printing a final copy.
  251. 16.  Press <Enter>.
  252. 17.  Press 1 (Program Defaults).
  253. 18.  Using the arrow keys, move the cursor down to the bottom of the
  254.      screen across from "Max. spooler size (K):".
  255. 19.  Type 3072 as the spooler size, then press <Enter>.
  256.      NOTE: This sets the spooler size to approximately 3Mb.  Since Harvard
  257.      Graphics creates this 3Mb file on your hard disk, make sure that you
  258.      have enough disk space to accommodate it.  Lowering the spooler size
  259.      will increase the time it will take to free up your PC while printing.
  260.      If you are using an external spooler (hardware or software solution),
  261.      set the "Use spooler" option to "No" in the Printer Setup Menus.
  262. 20.  Press the Esc key.
  263.  
  264. Printing from Harvard(tm) Graphics 3.0
  265. --------------------------------------
  266.  1.  From the F6-Main Menu press 5 (Output).
  267.  2.  Press 1 (Printer 1).
  268.  3.  Check to see if all of the printing information is correct, then
  269.      press F10-Continue to print.

  278. Use the installation utility contained on the "HP DeskJet 500C Color
  279. Driver Disk for DOS", to install the files to the 1-2-3 directory on your
  280. hard disk.
  281.  
  282. From the 1-2-3 directory on your hard disk run INSTDRV.BAT by typing the
  283. full path name of your 1-2-3 Rel. 3.1+ subdirectory and the name of your
  284. default drive.  For example;  C:\123R31\ C  ...then <Enter>.
  285. This installation batch file program will create the files necessary to
  286. setup 1-2-3 with the new DeskJet 500C driver.
  287.  
  288. Using the Lotus(R) Install Program
  289. ----------------------------------
  290.  1.  From the 1-2-3 directory on your hard disk type INSTALL, then <Enter>.
  291.      NOTE: Make sure you have copied the Wysiwyg program to your hard
  292.      disk during the 1-2-3 installation.  The following procedures will
  293.      vary slightly if you have not yet completed the Lotus Install pro-
  294.      gram's "First-Time Installation".  We recommend that you complete
  295.      the First-Time Installation without installing printers, then follow
  296.      the steps below to modify your installation for the DeskJet 500C.
  297.  2.  Highlight "Change Selected Equipment" ...then press <Enter>.
  298.  3.  Highlight "Modify Current DCF" (Device Config. File)
  299.      ...then press <Enter>.
  300.  4.  Highlight "Change Selected Printer" ...then press <Enter>.
  301.  5.  Highlight "HP" ...then press <Enter>.
  302.  6.  Press the up arrow to select "HP DeskJet 500C" ...then press <Enter>.
  303.  7.  Press <Enter> again to select "Color Graphics Paper".
  304.         NOTE:  If you don't want to use transparencies with your printer,
  305.         you can skip to step #12.  Otherwise continue with step #8.
  306.  8.  Highlight "Change Selected Printer" ...then press <Enter>.
  307.  9.  Highlight "HP" ...then press <Enter>.
  308. 10.  Press the up arrow to select "HP DeskJet 500C" ...then press <Enter>.
  309. 11.  Highlight "Color Graphics Transparency" ...then press <Enter>.
  310. 12.  Press <Enter> (to Return to Menu).
  311. 13.  Highlight "Save Changes" ...then press <Enter>.
  312. 14.  Press <Enter> to accept the changes you've made and save them to the
  313.      default 123.DCF file.  NOTE:  Do not add the ".DCF" extension to the
  314.      file name.
  315. 15.  At this point in the installation you'll need to have your 1-2-3
  316.      master disks available. Type the letter for the floppy disk drive
  317.      you'll be using ...then press <Enter>.
  318. 16.  In the "Generating Fonts" opening screen press <Enter> to continue.
  319. 17.  Highlight "Extended" ...then press <Enter>.
  320. 18.  Highlight "Yes" ...then press <Enter>.
  321. 19.  Press any key to complete the installation.

  323. Setting Up 1-2-3 & Printing from Wysiwyg
  324. ----------------------------------------
  325. Refer to the HP DeskJet 500C "Software Information Guide" for information
  326. on how to set up 1-2-3 and Wysiwyg with your printer.  In general, you
  327. should do the following;
  328.  1.  Select /, Worksheet, Global, Default, Printer, Name  ...then use the
  329.      arrow keys to select "HP DeskJet 500C Color Graphics Paper" as your
  330.      default printer and media ...then press <Enter>.
  331.  2.  Select Interface  ...then use the arrow keys to select the port where
  332.      your printer is connected  ...then press <Enter>.
  333.  3.  Select Quit, Update ...to save your default settings  ...then Quit.

  335. The following steps assume that the Wysiwyg add-in program is loaded.
  336.  4.  Select ":" to access the Wysiwyg command line.
  337.  5.  Select Print, Range, Set ...to select the cells you want to print.
  338.  6.  Select Configuration, Printer ...then use the arrow keys to select
  339.      either "HP DeskJet 500C Color Graphics Paper" or "HP DeskJet 500C
  340.      Color Graphics Transparency" (depending on the media you're using).
  341.      Press <Enter>.
  342.  7.  Select the desired Resolution ...then press <Enter>.
  343.       NOTE:  "Final" = 300 dots per inch resolution
  344.              "Draft" = 150 dots per inch resolution
  345.  8.  Select Quit, then Go  ...to print.

  353. Using the Lotus(R) INSTALL Program
  354. ----------------------------------
  355.  1.  From the 1-2-3 directory on your hard disk type INSTALL ...then 
  356.      press <Enter>.
  357.      NOTE:   Make sure you have copied the WYSIWYG program to your hard
  358.      disk during the 1-2-3 installation.  The following procedures will
  359.      vary slightly if you have not yet completed the Lotus Install pro-
  360.      gram's "First-Time Installation".  We recommend that you complete
  361.      the First-Time Installation without installing printers, then follow
  362.      the steps below to modify your installation for the DeskJet 500C.
  363.  2.  Highlight "Change Selected Equipment" ...then press <Enter>.
  364.  3.  Highlight "Add New Drivers to the Library" ...then press <Enter>.
  365.  4.  Insert the "HP DeskJet 500C Color Driver Disk" into one of your
  366.      floppy drives, then type the drive letter (A or B) when prompted by
  367.      "Specify the disk drive for the drivers disk:" ...then press <Enter>.
  368.  5.  Highlight "Modify the Current Driver Set" ...then press <Enter>.
  369.  6.  Highlight "Graphics Printer" ...then press <Enter>.
  370.      NOTE:  The "DeskJet 500C" graphics printer driver is intended for
  371.      color output only (from Printgraph & WYSIWYG).  To print black text
  372.      (black ink cartridge installed), you'll need to also select the
  373.      "DeskJet,+ and 500 portrait" and/or "DeskJet,+ and 500 landscape"
  374.      drivers under the "Text Printer" configuration screens in the Lotus
  375.      Install program.
  376.  7.  Highlight "HP" ...then press <Enter>.
  377.  8.  Highlight "DeskJet 500C" ...then press <Enter>.
  378.  9.  Press <Enter> to "Return to Previous Menu".
  379. 10.  Highlight "Save the Current Driver Set" ...then press <Enter>.
  380. 11.  Press <Enter> to accept the changes you've made and save them to
  381.      the default driver file.
  382. 12.  In the "Generating Fonts" opening screen press <Enter> to continue.
  383. 13.  Highlight "Extended" ...then press <Enter>.
  384. 14.  Highlight "Yes" ...then press <Enter>.
  385. 15.  Press any key to complete the installation.
  386.  
  387. Establishing Printer Default Settings
  388. -------------------------------------
  389.  After running the Lotus Install program, you must select your printer
  390.  default settings.  If you will be using WYSIWYG to format spreadsheets,
  391.  you'll need to select printer defaults in both 1-2-3 native mode and in
  392.  the WYSIWYG add-in program.
  393.  
  394.  1-2-3 Native Mode
  395.  -----------------
  396.   To select printer default settings in 1-2-3 native mode:
  397.    1.  Begin 1-2-3.
  398.    2.  Select /, W(Worksheet), G(Global), D(Default), P(Printer),
  399.        I(Interface), 1(Parallel 1) ...assuming you're using a parallel
  400.        interface.
  401.    3.  Make the following printer default settings;
  402.         Select A(AutoLF)...then select N(No).
  403.         Select L(Left margin).  Type 0, then press <Enter>.
  404.         Select R(Right margin).  Type 80, then press <Enter>.
  405.         Select T(Top margin).  Type 0, then press <Enter>.
  406.         Select B(Bottom margin).  Type 0, then press <Enter>.
  407.         Select P(Pg-Length).  Type 60, then press <Enter>.
  408.         Select W(Wait)...then select N(No).
  409.         Select S(Setup).  Verify that there is no setup string (blank),
  410.         then press <Enter>.
  411.         Select N(Name).  Use the arrow keys to select the type of printing
  412.         you want to do.  The "HP DeskJet+ and 500 portrait" or "HP DeskJet+
  413.         and 500 landscape" drivers will provide black printing.
  414.  
  415.  WYSIWYG Mode
  416.  ------------
  417.   To select printer default settings in the WYSIWYG add-in program:        
  418.    1.  From 1-2-3, start WYSIWYG.  If you do not have WYSIWYG setup to
  419.        automatically load, do the following;
  420.         Simultaneously press the Alt and F10 keys.
  421.         Select A(Attach).
  422.         Use the arrow keys to select "WYSIWYG.ADN", then press <Enter>.
  423.         Select a function key to use with WYSIWYG (or choose No-key).
  424.         Select Q(Quit).
  425.    2.  Select ":" to invoke the WYSIWYG command-line.
  426.    3.  Select P(Print), C(Configuration), P(Printer).
  427.    4.  Use the arrow keys to select "HP DeskJet 500C Paper", "HP DeskJet
  428.        500C Transparency", "HP DeskJet+, 500 High Density" (black ink
  429.        printing at 300dpi) or "HP DeskJet+, 500 Low Density" (black ink
  430.        printing at 150dpi).  Press <Enter> after you've made your printer
  431.        driver selection.
  432.    5.  Select I(Interface) and choose the interface port you're connected
  433.        to.  NOTE:  We recommend that you use one of the parallel printer
  434.        ports for color printing.  Printing may take much longer when using
  435.        one of the serial ports.
  436.    6.  Select O(Orientation), and choose either the P(Portrait) or
  437.        L(Landscape) mode. 
  438.    7.  Select Q(Quit), Q(Quit). 
  439.  
  440.   Using Your Printer in WYSIWYG Mode
  441.   ----------------------------------
  442.    The fonts available in WYSIWYG depend on whether you generated Basic,
  443.    Medium, or Extended fonts in the Lotus Install program.
  444.    
  445.    HP DeskJet 500 font cartridges and internal fonts (except Courier) are
  446.    not supported in 1-2-3 Native Mode or WYSIWYG.  However, WYSIWYG (as 
  447.    shipped) includes the typefaces Swiss, Dutch, and XSymbol.
  448.    NOTE:  It is possible to select the HP DeskJet 500C internal Courier or 
  449.           Letter Gothic typefaces using printer commands from a S(Setup) 
  450.           string, or embedded in the worksheet using the "||" command while
  451.           in the 1-2-3 Native Mode. Refer to your 1-2-3 documentation for 
  452.           more information on how to send printer escape sequence commands.

  470.    As an example of applying color within WYSIWYG, to print negative
  471.    numbers in red;
  472.     Select ":", D(Display), C(Colors), N(Neg), R(Red), Q(Quit), Q(Quit).

  474.    Printing Color from WYSIWYG;
  475.    1.  Make sure the color ink cartridge is installed in your printer.
  476.    2.  Select ":", P(Print), R(Range), S(Set), then indicate the range of
  477.        the worksheet you want printed.  Then, press <Enter>.
  478.    3.  If the current printer default is not set to the type of color
  479.        printing you want, select P(Print), C(Configuration) from the WYSIWYG
  480.        command line.  Select P(Printer), then use the arrow keys to select
  481.        either "HP DeskJet 500C Paper" or "HP DeskJet 500C Transparency".
  482.        Press <Enter> after you have made your choice.
  483.    4.  Select Q(Quit).
  484.    5.  Select G(Go) to print the selected range of your worksheet.
  485.        NOTE:  Only those portions of your worksheet which have been
  486.               specified as being color (including text, numbers, borders)
  487.               will be printed in color.  Anything else will be printed in

  490.    Printing Black from WYSIWYG;
  491.    1.  Make sure the black ink cartridge is installed in your printer.

  516. Miscellaneous Notes

  518.  1.  Graphics and ASCII text cannot be combined on the same page.
  519.  2.  Color graphics will print on either paper or transparencies.
  520.  3.  For normal (portrait orientation) printing, the Paper Bin setting
  521.      should be set to "Single-Sheet" for correct graphics imaging.

  524.  4.  For landscape orientation printing, make sure you set the

  535. Use the installation utility contained on the "HP DeskJet 500C Color Driver
  536. Disk for DOS", to copy the driver and installation files to the Quattro
  537. Pro directory on your hard disk.

  539. Setting Up the HP DeskJet 500C Printer Driver

  541. From the Quattro Pro subdirectory on your hard disk run DJ.BAT by typing
  542. the following command;  DJ  ...then <Enter>.
  543. This batch file MUST be executed in order to add HP DeskJet 500C driver
  544. information to the Quattro Pro printer configuration file.
  545. NOTE:  The DJ.BAT file creates a new PRINTERS.BGI file.  The original file
  546. (that came with your Quattro Pro software) is saved as PRINTBAK.BGI.

  548. Selecting the DeskJet 500C Printer from Quattro Pro
  549.  From Quattro Pro do the following;
  550.  1.  Press "/" to select the menu bar.
  551.  2.  Press the following keys (or select with your mouse);
  552.      O(Options), H(Hardware), P(Printers), 1(1st Printer), T(Type of
  553.      printer).
  554.  3.  Use the up/down-arrow keys to highlight "HP Printers",
  555.      then press <Enter>.
  556.      HINT:  The name "DeskJet 500C" may not be visible on the first screen.
  557.             Use the up-arrow key (or scroll bar, if using a mouse) to bring
  558.             the "DeskJet 500C" name into view.
  559.  4.  Select the paper size, resolution, and whether you want B&W (black-
  560.      only) or Color printing enabled.  Press <Enter> after you have
  561.      highlighted your selection.
  562.      NOTE:  After you have made your selections, you will be returned to
  563.      the "Type of printer" window.  Verify that the selections are correct.
  564.  5.  Press <Ctrl> <Break> to return to the worksheet mode.

  566.  If the DeskJet 500C is the only printer connected to your system, we
  567.  suggest that you set up the "1st Printer" using one of the "B&W" (black-
  568.  only) drivers.  Then configure the "2nd Printer" for "Color" printing.
  569.  This will allow you to easily switch between black-only (black ink
  570.  cartridge installed in the printer) and color (color ink cartridge
  571.  installed in the printer) printing modes.

  573. Using Color in Your Worksheets
  574.  Printing Cells Containing Negative Numbers in Red;
  575.   1.  Press "/" to select the menu bar.
  576.   2.  Press the following keys (or select with your mouse);
  577.       O(Options), C(Colors), C(Conditional), O(On/Off), E(Enable),
  578.       S(Smallest Normal Value).

  586.       spreadsheet to be printed, then press <Enter>.
  587.   3.  Select D(Destination), G(Graphics Printer),
  588.       then S(Spreadsheet Print) to print to your DeskJet 500C in color.
  589.       NOTE:  When using the "Graphics Printer" mode, the printer will print
  590.       color output using the Quattro Pro built-in fonts.  Refer to your
  591.       Quattro Pro Users Guide for information on how to modify font colors
  592.       and sizes.

  594. Printing Graphs
  595.  To print graphs from Quattro Pro do the following;
  596.   1.  Make sure that you have selected one of the "Color" printing
  597.       drivers in the O(Options), H(Hardware), P(Printers) menu.
  598.   2.  Select "/", P(Print), G(Graph Print), D(Destination),
  599.       G(Graph Printer), G(Go) to print to your DeskJet 500C in color.

  602.  To set up spreadsheets to print in landscape mode;
